DEQ Recycling Infrastructure Grant Available

As an initiative to promote the ease of recycling in Michigan communities, the DEQ is offering grants relating to recycling infrastructure, new or existing. This funding is available to cities, villages, townships, charter townships, tribal governments, counties, non profit organizations, and more. Potential projects could include but are not limited to: public drop-off recycling, improving existing infrastructure, bins and carts, school recycling programs, and electronic waste programs.

$500,000 is available in grants with a maximum request of $100,000 per community.

Deadline for applications is March 1st, 2019.
