MCACA Art Minigrant Program

The MCACA Art Minigrant program is a grants-giving partnership funded by the State of Michigan through the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) and administered locally by CUPPAD. There are 19 designated regions throughout the state; CUPPAD administers the program within the central Upper Peninsula. Region 12 consists of Alger, Delta, Dickinson, Marquette, Menominee and Schoolcraft Counties.

Minigrants provide up to $4,000, on a matching basis, for locally developed, high quality arts and cultural projects, which are special opportunities to address local arts and cultural needs and increase public access to arts and culture. Minigrants support a broad range of artistic expression from all cultures through projects which preserve, produce, or present traditional or contemporary arts and culture.
