Covid-19 Public Meeting Directive

Effective Immediately from the Office of the Governor:

-All public bodies of departments and agencies of the State must postpone public meetings, when able to defer agenda items until another date.

-Remote participation (conference calls, real-time streaming, etc) is acceptable and can form a quorum, so long as public access and participation is preserved.

-Publication of the notice is required to be on the public body’s website. The public notice must include sufficient information such that the public’s right to address a meeting of the public body is preserved.

We will try to stay up to date on meeting schedules, but the best way of communicating changes to the public is through organization websites and Facebook.
