Funding Opportunity: Arts Minigrants for Central U.P. Communities

CUPPAD is pleased to announce the opening of the fiscal year 2019 Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs Arts Minigrant applications. This minigrant is a 1:1 match of up to $4,000 for locally developed, high quality arts and cultural projects, which are special opportunities to address local arts and cultural needs and increase public access to arts and culture. Minigrants support a broad range of artistic expression from all cultures through projects which preserve, produce, or present traditional or contemporary arts and culture.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Non-profit organizations, located in the central Upper Peninsula, including (but not limited to) service organizations, arts organizations, parks and recreational organizations, churches, professional associations, public and non-public schools, cities, townships and villages may apply.
  • Proposed projects must take place during Fiscal Year 2019, Oct. 1, 2018-Sept. 30, 2019.
  • New applicants will need to create an eGrant account.
